The project includes studying alternatives to increase the existing channel size and capacity upstream of Hot Wells Blvd. to just downstream of S. New Braunfels Ave. to contain the 1% flood event (100 year storm). The study will investigate existing drainage conditions and develop feasible alternatives for improvements to "State Hospital Creek." Options for improvements may include channelization, underground storm sewer installation, and roadway reconstruction.
